Rockauto in Cambridge, Ontario - Need a Live Person to talk to

A Toyota headlight assembly, I purchased in June, has failed and will be replaced by Rock Auto. The problem is I do not want a replacement, I need a refund, as I could not wait until the defective part is returned for a new headlight ass'y to be sent to me. Therefore, I ordered a new replacement first, removed the defective one, and wish to return it for a refund. However, the info provided by Rock Auto indicates a replacement will be sent once the defective one is returned. How can I contact a live person to ensure this is not done? There appears to no way of doing this online. I now need a refund and there appears to no method available via the Rock Auto website, to allow a customer to change this option. There should be a live chat available to clear up a small problem such as this. Cannot rely exclusively on a web page... no matter how good it is. also I have very little time to return the defective unit. the defective headlight is better than no headlight. The replacement I ordered has arrived, the swap is complete and I ma about to return the defective unit to Miami Fl. I must pay almost $100 CDN to return it and then end up with a light I no longer need. A refund is the only option now that makes sense.

Rockauto in Nashville, Tennessee - Wouldn't take return on defective part. No customer support to call.

I ordered a compressor which was defective. They won't let me return without a receipt for a system flush. The replacement compressor worked but they still won't take back the defective one. Will have to file dispute with my credit card company. I will never order another part from them. I am now just adding words to get to the maximum number of words in order to be able to publish this review. Not sure how many more I need to add But I hope I get enough soon. This is boring. Is this enough yet? How about now? Why do I need to have 100 words when I only need 40 to say what I need to say? Almost there I think. Ok, now this should just do it. Oops, just need one more.

There is no call number,no customer service, and the return process is basically a screw you because they screwed up or their third party vendor has screwed up. I got the right box with the wrong part. They won't send the correct part until I mail them theirs and pay for the shipping. Well that's trash after I filled out your online questionnaire and I'm still stuck with the part. Obviously I needed it. I paid for it to come quicker. Now you want to drag your feet at my expense. That's junk. I found the part cheaper online at eBay and Amazon was within $5. Both of these sites are way more customer focused than Rockauto and hopefully they realize this in the future if they hope to continue their operation. It is better to hold you vendors accountable for their errors than your customers. Just a note to chew on.

Website does not allow me to return one of the injectors as a core and two as defective for full refund I bought all eight and had a shop install them they informed me that one had been previously installed and the other was bad they bought two brand new ones from Carquest so I need to know how to get my refund for the ones they bought they supplied me with a receipt and tech diagnosis
