Ok my wife drives a 93' ford e350 club wagon with a 5.8 and duel Ac units. I looked up and ordered the correct kit that included the compressor, dryer, orfice tube, rear expansion valve and the 46 PAC oil. The kit didn't come with all the needed o-rings or flush but that was ok I got them locally along with another 8 oz 46 PAC oil for the full system takes 10 oz. I got three quarters of the flush as it is a big system. I flushed all lines and all cores until I got nothing but clean return on all I than changed all o-rings , and installed all parts. I put pressure on the system and found the relief valve leaking so I ordered a new valve when it came it I installed it. The system them held pressure. I pulled a vacuum and let it sit over night. All was good. I pulled vacuum for a while to make sure all moisture was out of the system and then weight my 134 back into the system all was good and the ac has worked fine for about three to four weeks. My wife asked me to check a noise that started this week. On checking I found the ac clutch does not fully disengage when not in use. And the front slip disk has gotten hot and the rubber has swallowed making it worse. Because it was ordered as a kit I have to return the entire thing. So I have to pull the system down. Pull the part and sent it back I pay the freight. And if they reject the warranty I eat it. They want proof I bought the flush. *** I can't find that rect.. *** its the dam clutch. The compressor works fine. But anything to reject warranty just like the rest of the world.

Ordered brake rotors and pads for 2005 Volvo S40 T5. Lousy weather prevented me from being able to install them right away.

When I did go to install the 30 day return policy had expired.

That's When I discovered that the WRONG front rotors and pads had been shipped.Of course there is nobody to explain this dilemma to, humans dont seem to work there. This company doesn't give a *** about their customers.....hate em.

Rockauto - An attempt to cheat me out of my refund

I paid for Express mailing of my part and it failed to arrive on time. USPS regulations state that if your Priority Mail Express fails to arrive by the guaranteed time/day you will be fully refunded. I called RockAuto and informed their rep that my item failed to arrive on time as promised by the USPS. The rep Matt informed me that I would only receive partial refund for my Express shipment because they have a corporate account with the post office. That they would be charging me at the priority rate because my item still arrived. Little did Matt know that I work as a finance Manager for the USPS. I informed him that he will be giving me back my full postage refund. If rockauto decides to charge over the normal Express rate for shipping then regardless of what discount he already get for being a corporate customer I am untitled to my full refund. He replied that he will be giving me my full refund. Then he abruptly hung up on me. My concern is how many people out there are being cheated out of money that they are entitled back.

I'm not pissed, just disappointed. Had a question about a muffler and if any gaskets needed to go with it, but couldn't reach a representative.

I was Sent the wrong part 3 times and instead of calling the just keep sending the Wrong Part and they have the Nerve to Get Nasty with you instead of helping you throw the problem and then they don't want to send you a return Label they want you to pay for your own return label i will never use them ever Again and if anyone is out there getting ready to use them don't this just happen to me with in this last Month Never Again. and i will never tell anyone else to Order from them and i work in a Hospital i could have got you a lot of Business you all mess that up i and help a lot Business out with Customers .

It's being a terrible experience with the purchase of Monroe Struts from RockAuto. First there were wrong miss-matching parts in the boxes. Once informed, they quickly sent the correct parts. Then, the left side Strut assembly that came with the original Order was a defective and RockAuto has graciously sent a refund/replacement. Again, shortly after installing the replacement part, I found out that the Strut mount that came with the assembly is defective. It started giving a noise every time the wheel is turned either way. I took the car to the mechanic and confirmed it was the bad strut mount. This time I did not want to go through the return because all this time, I only lost money for the install/reinstall, expensive shipping of these defective parts. The important discovery is this: the strut mount that came with the original assembly is not an actual Monroe part, according to the auto shop, who all the time deals with Monroe parts. They said it is definitely not a genuine Monroe part. I purchased a real Monroe part from a local Monroe dealer, and when it is compared to the part that pulled out from the strut assembly, it was different. I am really, really pissed-off with this transaction and feels like I was cheated with fake parts. I have attached photos of the defective part pulled out from the Monroe Strut assembly and the picture of the package of the genuine Monroe part I purchased from a local dealer.

This is a prime example of why I stopped conducting business with RockAuto. They ship fast, have good prices, but too often send open box items that are missing parts (washers, bolts, nuts...), and/or defective. Decided it was no longer worth the hassle.

Rockauto - Wrong what, not my fault you don't know this.

Rockauto! Beware ordered the correct rear wheel bearing part for 07 Ford Focus, received a bearing that was to small, had to pay to return their screw up. Seems 07 focus came out with 2 different size rear wheel bearings. a large and a small. Rockauto doesn't tell you this and you pay to return the item even though it is not your fault. now I have the correct part because I contacted the local Ford parts department and found out. Now this *** thing tells me I need to add 16 more words, so, bear with me. Rockauto has real good service but needs a better parts book. and this is one of the stupidest reviews I have ever filled out.

I ordered a FRONT RIGHT caliper for a dodge Durango. They shipped the right part number but inside the box was a front left caliper. After a lot of checking I was able to inform Rockauto that for this particular brand of caiper they had switched the left and right side, based on the photos on their web site. For all other brands the photos were correct. I didn't want them to just ship another incorrect part so I told them and sent them all the photos etc. Their response was that they just had the wrong photos on the web site. So, at considerable expense, I returned the incorrect caliper and waited for the new one to arrive.... Guess what? They shipped exactly the same product -- a FRONT LEFT CALIPER... So even when customers try to help them avoid mistakes they prefer to ignore the customers and just make assumptions about the problem. This is not the first time I have found Rockauto's customer service department incapable of listening and dealing with a problem. They just want to treat everything like a conveyor belt. They have ZERO customer service competence. Such a shame for a company that could otherwise be brilliant. If you are living outside USA I strongly advise against using Rockauto. They just don't care.

I ordered a part for a 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. I needed a drivers side power window regulator. The part came in but the part was wrong, and the box listed the part for a GM Sanoma truck. The part number's first few numbers are the same but the last numbers are different. I called customer service and the guy kept saying that I ordered the wrong part. I corrected him 3 times. He sent me a return e mail and I sent the part back. I sent a email saying that nothing was said about the return postage being covered. I sent an e mail again and some guy called Samal (?) said that I ordered the wrong part so they would not cover the postage. Once again I corrected the guy and he said the warehouse receives the parts and there is no way to check the part number. Today's world doesn't work that way! Can someone fix my problem. I'm retired and need everything I'm intitled to! Nothing more nothing less. John
