To no avail no results; run-a-round to make it simple and blunt

I had ordered wrong part. As a result, I returned GMB#720-**** wheel bearing & hub assembly which was part for 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 4wd 5.7.I reordered the same for 2008 dodge Ram 2500 4wd. on receipt of 2008 part I returned the 2010 part. I received email from Rockauto stating that I improperly administered their shipping policy I would like to talk to a mortal and find out what I must do to rectify the issue . Please give me direction!!!!! Thanks Dan

No Telephone Customer Service

I tried both this number and the number on gethuman.com, and both connected me to a phonemail greeting at RockAuto Corporate Headquarters. In the greeting, there is a clear statement that RockAuto does not offer Customer Service by telephone. The best (and only) way I've found to contact RockAuto Customer Support is by email, at service@***.com. The good news is that when I did this once before, they responded quickly (the next day), and the support I received was excellent. Hope this helps. --Shadetree Sam

Preferred solution: RockAuto to provide telephone customer support for urgent questions. RockAuto is a customer-facing business (B2C), and sometimes we need information when our personal vehicles are disassembled and out-of-service, and the need for support is urgent.

After many orders I've found that their warehouse selection algorithm selects parts to INCREASE shipping costs. Parts available at one warehouse (i.e. warehouse "A") CHANGE as you add parts that seem to be available only from another one (warehouse "B"). Then when you add more parts to the order, now the first part is coming from "B" and the third part comes from "C". Add more and it changes again, indicating that ALL of the parts could have come from one warehouse, but they're pretending they don't, so your shipping charges increase until you may as well go to the local parts store.

During the last week of April I ordered a radiator for my ‘00 Silverado from Rock Auto. I assisted my 15 year old son installing the radiator in the truck.

A week and a half ago while driving home from an automotive repair side job the “Low Coolant” light illuminated on the dashboard. After getting home I inspected the radiator and found a crack and coolant leaking out from the upper passenger-side radiator tank. I was unable to return the radiator for a refund for being outside the 30 day limit on the purchase. I had only two options to warranty the radiator: order another radiator, pay for shipping to send it back, then wait for another radiator and a refund, or ship the damaged radiator back, pay for shipping and wait for another radiator.

I’ve been with my truck for almost a week. I could have bought a radiator at my local NAPA, wait a day for it to come in, and re-install it before the radiator I shipped back to Rock Auto even left my home town.

Buying auto parts local is far more convenient. I’ve ordered other parts from Rock Auto, but not anymore.

they sent me shock absorbers that did not fit my car, I tried to return and they said they would not refund me till they received them back! and then on top of it they said I had to pay the shipping costs to send it back!!! by law you cant be charged for a product you haven't received yet!

Commercials are offensive

lets start with returns as I bought a part, then vehicle blew up so no need to install. had part for 30 days and they wouldn't let me return it. then I see this commercial that walks into a parts store needing pricing on struts for his car and rock auto shows what looks to be and acts like a stoner parts person trying to look up the parts incorrectly! as a fellow ford parts counterperson I found this really offensive as I take my job seriously. by no means are all parts counter people like this. rock auto can take their parts and stick 'em! never again for me
