RockAuto refused to cancel my order & charged me return shipping.
I am going through a divorce with my wife and found out about a day late that she placed an order with my cc info for some parts on her lincoln ls 2005 (registered to her name). Once I discovered the money missing from my account I called Rockauto and spoke with Mario, he told me that he would note the account that there has been fraudulent activity, but would not cancel the order, he told me that I would have to wait on Fedex to deliver it and then cancel the order with them. This bothered me, but I did just that. However, when I spoke with FedEx the guy told me he delivers a lot of packages for Rockauto and that they lied to me, he said they could've cancelled the order immediately while it was in transit and that they were probably just being lazy.
Sure enough I call Rockauto today 10-28-16 and Adam answers the phone he tells me that I will be responsible for the shipping fees?
I have already contacted my bank and am in the process of getting new cards issued, etc, but they can not do a stop payment if Rockauto has already taken the money out of my account. Rockauto refuses to cancel the order before it even got to my state and now they want to charge me for their employees laziness.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Monetary Loss: $257.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
RockAuto Cons: Ashley, Mario, Customer service terrible, Inexperienced customer service staff, Customer service and shipping practices, Refund policy for wrong part.
