Rockauto - They ship the wrong parts then want take them back
I ordered an AC accumulator and an evaporator for a 78 Corvette. when the parts arrived they were very similar to the parts that were on the car. Similar enough I could not tell the critical differences. After installing the parts and attempting to make the final connections, the parts would not work. After further research I can see the difference. They sent me the parts for an 80-82 corvette.
additionally the parts they provided were extremely *** made. The parts I ended up buying from Corvette Central were quality made and worth the little extra money.
Rock auto is crap for providing the proper specialty parts. Beware!
What little you may save by buying from Rockauto isn't worth the lack of convenience when trying to return something to Rockauto.
